About NHEG
Our Purpose
Northern Holocaust Education Group (NHEG) was founded in recognition that the first generation of Holocaust survivors will not be able to tell their stories in person forever.
As descendants of victims of the Holocaust and Nazi persecution, our volunteer, accredited speakers carry those stories forward – sharing lived experiences with audiences in primary and secondary schools, colleges, businesses, places of worship, civic authorities and prisons among others.
NHEG makes no charge for its speakers’ services. Our talks are designed to inspire audiences to stand up against hatred, discrimination and persecution of any kind.
As a small charity, donations are always welcome.

What to Expect

Who We Are
Northern Holocaust Education Group was established to preserve and share the personal stories of Holocaust survivors and victims of Nazi persecution. As fewer survivors are able to share their testimony first-hand, our accredited speakers – descendants of survivors or victims of Nazi persecution – continue this vital work by presenting their families’ histories to new generations.
Through powerful life stories, we encourage audiences to recognise the dangers of hatred, prejudice, and discrimination.
